July 08, 2025
After conducting physical trials in multiple cities, Big Cricket League gives another opportunity to amateur cricketers across India.
Big Cricket League, the world’s first-ever cricket league that brings together amateur cricketers and former international stars of the game, has announced that it will be conducting Digital Trials for its Season 2, which will be conducted later this year.
The talent hunt for Big Cricket League Season 2 has seen trials conducted in Delhi, Noida, Lucknow, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolkata & Bengaluru till now and in the coming weeks, trials will be conducted in multiple other cities across the country. Thousands of cricketers have attended these trials to take a shot at living the ultimate cricketing dream of playing with their heroes.
Big Cricket League’s initiative to conduct the Digital Trials is an attempt to give a chance to amateur cricketers who are living in those areas of the country, where physical trials will not be conducted or for those who haven’t been able to travel for on-ground trials.
Digital Talent Hunt will require amateur cricketers to be a part of the talent hunt by sending their videos after registering for Digital Trials on BCL’s official website.
Speaking on the initiative of Digital Talent Hunt, Big Cricket League CEO & Co-Founder Annirudh Chauhan said, “We received a lot of messages of players from several parts of the country that they are interested in giving trials but will not be able to travel due to some issue or the other. A lot of cricketers also missed physical trials in their cities due to work commitments or injuries. The Digital Talent Hunt is for these cricketers only, those who have the talent & want to live their dreams. We know the talent pool out there and considering the onset of monsoons across the country in the coming months, the Digital Talent Hunt made the most sense.”
Rudra Pratap Singh, Founder & President of BCL, said, “Mightily pleased to be announcing the Digital Talent Hunt for Season 2. India has a never-ending conveyor belt of cricketing talent & those who want to live their dreams, so I am sure that the Digital Talent Hunt will deliver immensely skilled cricketers.”
Season 1 of Big Cricket League featured 60 amateur cricketers from the ages of 20 to 49, who got a chance to rub shoulders with the likes of Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina & Imran Tahir among others, fulfilling their cricketing dreams. Big Cricket League Season 2 promises to be a bigger & better proposition.
